Our Mission: Heal The Nation… Our Sacred Duty.

The Big “IF”

If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves, pray, seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven. I will forgive their sins,
and I will heal their land.

2 Chronicles 7:14

The formula for healing a nation is laid out in these 39 words, and it begins with a BIG “IF:”  God is speaking to His people;after all, He does call them and us “my people.” He also describes us as being “called by my name.” Then God tells us four things God want us to do.

  1.  God wants us to humble ourselves.

  2. God wants us to pray.

  3. God want us to be serious about the prayer and seek God’s face.

  4. God wants us to turn from our wicked ways.

God then promises he will do three things:

  1. He promises to hear from heaven.

  2. He promises to forgive our sins.

  3. He promise to heal our land… nation.

Now I am certain that God will do whatever God promises.  If we accomplish four things, God will do what God says God will do. God will listen, forgive and heal. The problem lies with we the people of God who have a great big freedom since the beginning of time. We have free will.

So right here and right now we are at a significant cross roads, and God gives to his people a way to bring about the healing of our nation and any nation. For we who follow Christ, this is NOT about politics. It’s about something far more holy, healthy, sacred and important:  I do hope we will consider what God tells us to do, and I hope we will make the choice to participate in the healing of our nation. God is giving us the opportunity, left of center, right of center or dead center politically speaking to be a part of the solving the problem. This is a key mission for God’s people… IF we make the choice to fulfill our sacred duty.

God Bless Yours and You.
